Our team is looking for a motivated systems administrator who would describe themselves as a computer and technology enthusiast. This individual should desire to work in a fast-growing, quick pace environment. Our team collaborates and works out of our Bethlehem, PA office.

MUST HAVES...

MUST HAVE SOLID EXPERIENCE IN WINDOWS SERVER 2003 R2 THROUGH 2022 INCLUDING EXCHANGE SERVER.

MUST HAVE SOLID GRASP OF NETWORKING PRINCIPLES; WIRED & WIRELESS.

MUST HAVE GOOD COMMUNICATION AND DOCUMENTATION SKILLS.

 

REQUIRED

  • Windows Server Current & Legacy

  • Windows and Mac Mastery

  • Virtualization:

    • VmWare

    • Citrix

    • Hyper-V

  • Firewall:

    • Sophos

    • pfSense

    • Sonicwall

    • Cisco

 
  • Network Security Methodologies

  • Backup & Disaster Recovery Methodologies

  • All Versions of Windows through Windows 11

  • Basic Grasp of Powershell & Command Line Interfacing

  • Mobile Device Support

  • Standard Hardware Maintenance

  • Basic Level Understanding of Databases & Querying

  • Ability to Research Difficult Issues Quickly

  • Reliable Transportation, Willingness to Travel Daily, Close Proximity to the Lehigh Valley

 

PREFERRED

EDUCATION

  • Computer Science Degree

    • Certain certifications and experience considered equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing all current Windows client and server operating systems.

  • Office/Microsoft 365 administration experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience installing, administering, troubleshooting network equipment, such as firewalls, switches, wireless access points, etc.

MISC. EXPOSURE

  • MSSQL Server, MySQL Experience

  • Previous Help Desk Experience

  • Basic Linux, Unix, BSD, Mac Knowledge

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support for our clients on workstations, servers, and networking equipment.

  • Operate as part of the team responsible for the continued maintenance, operation, and security of client systems.

  • Implement support tools and automation required to deliver on SLOs.

  • Use ticketing system to communicate with clients, manage schedule and workload, and to compile detailed notes.

  • Provide expert recommendations for system upgrades, replacements, and new service additions to assist with client issues or holes in services.

  • Implement, maintain, and upgrade the client and business systems and services.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

 

EXTRA CONSIDERATION FOR:

  • Software Design Experience

  • Linux & Windows Scripting

  • CRM Deployments & Data Migrations

  • Network Cable Installation Experience

  • voIP, Asterisk, FreePBX a plus

 

Interested candidates who meet these qualifications after an initial meeting will be asked to demonstrate troubleshooting skills in a lab environment.
